Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1 — Arrive Banff, Orientation Walk

Arrive in Banff and settle into your mountain lodge. Your guide will lead an orientation walk through Banff townsite, introducing you to the stunning Rocky Mountain scenery. Welcome dinner and briefing about the days ahead.

Day 2 — Lake Louise & Moraine Lake

Morning visit to the legendary Lake Louise, one of the most photographed spots in Canada. Its glacier-fed turquoise waters are simply magical. Afternoon at Moraine Lake in the Valley of the Ten Peaks — even more dramatic than Lake Louise. Optional canoe rental.

Day 3 — Banff Gondola & Town

Ride the Banff Gondola to the summit of Sulphur Mountain for panoramic views over the Bow Valley and six mountain ranges. Afternoon free time to explore Banff townsite — boutique shops, galleries, and excellent restaurants. Optional Banff Upper Hot Springs soak.

Day 4 — Icefields Parkway North

Begin the famous Icefields Parkway drive northward. Stop at Crowfoot Glacier, the stunning wolf-shaped Peyto Lake, Bow Summit (highest point on the Parkway), the Weeping Wall, and Parker Ridge with its sweeping glacier views. Truly one of the world's great drives.

Day 5 — Athabasca Glacier

Experience the Athabasca Glacier — one of the most accessible glaciers in North America. Walk on 6,000-year-old ancient ice and learn about glacial dynamics from your guide. Visit Sunwapta Falls and Athabasca Falls on the drive to Jasper. Optional Glacier Skywalk.

Day 6 — Jasper Town & Maligne Canyon

Morning in charming Jasper townsite — smaller and less touristy than Banff, with great local character. Afternoon hike through Maligne Canyon, the world's second-longest gorge, with six bridges and dramatic limestone walls. Evening wildlife spotting — elk are frequently seen around town.

Day 7 — Maligne Lake Cruise

Full morning cruise on Maligne Lake — the largest glacially-fed lake in the Canadian Rockies. The boat takes you to the iconic Spirit Island, one of the most photographed locations in Canada. Afternoon at leisure; optional hiking trails around the lake. Farewell dinner with mountain views.

Day 8 — Departure

Morning check-out and final views of the Jasper wilderness. Transfer to Jasper train station or airport depending on your onward journey. Depart with memories of alpine lakes, glaciers, and wildlife that will last a lifetime.
